Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from a company representative. After clearing customs and exchanging currency, you will drive to your hotel for rest. Your driver will provide a detailed briefing on the safari and the planned activities.

Day 1 / 4 Days

Kigali Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and begin a city tour, visiting the Kigali Gisozi Genocide Memorial and local markets. Enjoy lunch at a city restaurant before driving to Musanze, home to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. Along the way, enjoy the stunning Rwandan landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, relax, and enjoy the amenities. In the evening, you have the option to visit the Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo, known for their scenic beauty and birdwatching opportunities.

Day 2 / 4 Days

Bisoke Hike and Cultural Experience

After breakfast, head to the RDB Headquarters for a briefing before starting the Bisoke hike. The hike to the volcano’s crater lake takes approximately four hours to ascend and two hours to descend. Return to your lodge for lunch, then visit the Gorilla Guardians’ former Iby’iwacu cultural village for an afternoon of cultural immersion, including traditional music and dance. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3 / 4 Days

Golden Monkey Trek and Return to Kigali

Begin the day with a golden monkey trek at Volcanoes National Park. After an hour with the monkeys, check out and drive back to Kigali. Enjoy lunch en route and some souvenir shopping before heading to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
