Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Along the way, your first stop is the Uganda Equator crossing, where you step out, take photos, and enjoy standing on the equator line. Next, you head to the Igongo Cultural Center for a delicious lunch and a quick look into the history and traditions of western Uganda.

After lunch, you drive through Ishaka toward the park. As you get closer, the scenery changes beautifully. Rift valley escarpments, tea plantations, and dense woodlands line the road, treating you to stunning views throughout the drive.

You arrive at the park in the late afternoon. Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Today is the most exciting day of your safari. You start the morning with a hot cup of tea or coffee before heading out for a thrilling game drive along the Kasenyi trail.

This two-to-three-hour drive takes you deep into the park’s open savannas in a comfortable 4×4 vehicle with a pop-up roof. The roof gives you a clear, open view of the wildlife all around you.
